The dangers of 'Unschooling'

Unschooling is an alternative educational approach that encourages self-directed learning with minimal formal instruction and has gained popularity in recent years. While it may seem like an innovative and flexible way to educate children, there are significant dangers associated with unschooling that can have long-term negative consequences on a child's development and future opportunities. Lack of structure and discipline One of the primary concerns with unschooling is the absence of a structured curriculum. In a traditional educational setting, students follow a set schedule and are required to complete specific tasks in a timely manner. This structure helps students develop time management skills, self-discipline, and an understanding of responsibility. In unschooling, however, children are expected to guide their own learning. Without a clear framework, they may struggle with time management, lose focus, and develop a lack of discipline. This can lead to missed opportunities f...

M.A.G.A, Maintain America Gullible Across

It is now official: America has elected its first convicted felon president, a significant milestone that came before the country elected its first female president. Today marks Donald Trump's third day back in office as president, a return that has already prompted serious discussions and concerns about his actions and policies. Let’s take a moment to review some of the most troubling moves Trump made on his first days back in power, actions that should not be overlooked or forgotten. On the day of his inauguration, one of the most notable and symbolic moments was Trump's refusal to place his hand on a Bible during the swearing-in ceremony. This act of defiance made him the first U.S. president in history to refuse such a symbolic gesture. His decision to not uphold the tradition that has been part of every presidential inauguration for over two centuries was a stark signal of his willingness to disregard historical norms. Beyond this, Trump's tenure had already been marke...

Is 'The Adjuster' the real life Batman, or just another New York time murderer?

With 'The Adjuster', Luigi Mangione making headlines recently, I thought I'd share my thoughts and some of my theories. While not everyone agrees with what he has ALLEGEDLY done, I respect everyone's opinion. Rest in peace to Brian Thompson and my condolences to his family. However, it's important to acknowledge that he was not a good person. To start, let's review his actions. Though Thompson helped United Healthcare profit immensely by increasing their claim denial rate—from 9% in 2019 to 32% in 2024 his leadership came at a heavy cost. As CEO from 2021, he indirectly contributed to many deaths across the U.S. Under his watch, United Healthcare's profits soared from $12 billion annually to $16 billion. Before anyone argues, "Should we just start murdering people we deem as 'bad'?" no, that's a slippery slope. My concern here is that the United States of America's government isn’t set up to hold executives accountable for such harm...
