M.A.G.A, Maintain America Gullible Across

It is now official: America has elected its first convicted felon president, a significant milestone that came before the country elected its first female president. Today marks Donald Trump's third day back in office as president, a return that has already prompted serious discussions and concerns about his actions and policies. Let’s take a moment to review some of the most troubling moves Trump made on his first days back in power, actions that should not be overlooked or forgotten.

On the day of his inauguration, one of the most notable and symbolic moments was Trump's refusal to place his hand on a Bible during the swearing-in ceremony. This act of defiance made him the first U.S. president in history to refuse such a symbolic gesture. His decision to not uphold the tradition that has been part of every presidential inauguration for over two centuries was a stark signal of his willingness to disregard historical norms. Beyond this, Trump's tenure had already been marked by troubling financial decisions. Over the course of his four years in office, he added a staggering $8 trillion to the national debt, leaving taxpayers with a monumental financial burden. However, he didn’t stop there, he also made drastic cuts to essential programs, including cancer research funding, an action that many criticized as heartless, especially given the growing need for cancer treatments and research.

Moreover, Trump's inauguration took place on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, an act, many are considered deeply disrespectful. Dr. King, one of the most revered figures in American history, was a tireless advocate for civil rights, fighting against racism, war, and the excesses of capitalism. He believed in a society where the rights of all people, regardless of race, gender, or background, were protected. King faced extreme adversity, including imprisonment, bombings of his home, and constant threats from white supremacist groups. He maintained a vigilant stance, always prepared for attacks on his life and loved ones. Yet, despite the FBI's relentless campaign against him, which included not only surveillance but also disturbing efforts to destroy his reputation, the agency continues to hypocritically honor him every year on his birthday. This kind of double standard is unsettling, especially when considering how the FBI tried to undermine his work, even going so far as to send him letters urging him to end his life. In addition to this, they spread false rumors about his personal life, such as claims that he was unfaithful to his wife, which many people still believe due to the longstanding propaganda efforts aimed at discrediting him. It is important to recognize that Dr. King was simply a man seeking justice, peace, and equality, yet the institutions that should have supported him instead waged a campaign of hate and misinformation.

Switching gears to the notorious incident at one of Trump's inaugural events: Elon Musk, who has become a controversial figure in his own right, performed what has since been dubbed the "Roman salute." Musk made this gesture not once, but twice, and attempted to justify it as a "Roman salute." However, historical experts quickly debunked this claim, noting that the so-called 'Roman salute' was actually popularized by fascist regimes, most notably by the Nazis, and was never a part of Roman culture. The controversy surrounding Musk’s salute deepened after an interview with his father, Errol Musk, revealed shocking details about the Musk family's history. Errol Musk admitted that
W. Maye Musk's parents, therefore ElonMusk’s grandparents were, in fact, sympathizers of Adolf Hitler and were Nazis who emigrated to South Africa. This disturbing revelation adds to the growing concerns about Elon Musk's political views and raises questions about his motivations. While Musk has built an empire in tech and space exploration, his involvement in politics is not as clear. Given his history and connections, it's safe to say that his interests may not align with the broader interests of the American public, and his political actions should be scrutinized closely.

In the first 24 to 48 hours of Trump's return to office, numerous new policies were introduced, many of which have had a profound impact on American society. Among the most controversial measures was the mass deportation of immigrants, regardless of their legal status. Thousands of families were torn apart, and many individuals who had lived in the U.S. for years were forcibly removed without due process. Another contentious move was the government's push to legalize only two genders, erasing the rights of transgender individuals and anyone who did not fit neatly into the traditional binary classification. Along with this, Trump's administration made sweeping moves to revoke women's rights, including severely limiting access to abortion and other essential healthcare services for women. These actions had significant consequences for millions of women across the country, threatening their ability to make decisions about their own bodies.

One of the most far-reaching and complicated initiatives to emerge in the early days of Trump's second term was Project 2025, a controversial and little-understood plan that could have lasting implications for American society and politics. While the specifics of the project remain unclear, there are concerns that it may involve significant changes to the country's legal and social structures that could erode personal freedoms and further entrench political power in the hands of a few.

Another piece of legislation that has flown under the radar but carries serious consequences is H.R. 8445, which was introduced on May 17 and referred to the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs. This bill, co-sponsored by Representatives Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) and Max Miller (R-OH), has gone largely unnoticed by the public, but its implications are deeply concerning. H.R. 8445 seeks to amend a number of programs that are normally available only to the U.S. military members, such as the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). What is most troubling is that these amendments would extend these military benefits to American citizens serving in the Israeli military, particularly those involved in the occupation of Palestine. The bill would provide U.S. legal and financial protections to Americans serving in the Israeli military, effectively making them eligible for the same benefits as those serving in the U.S. military.

The ramifications of this bill are profound, as it would formalize American support for the Israeli occupation of Palestine, including the ongoing colonization, ethnic cleansing, and violence against Palestinians. H.R. 8445 represents an unprecedented shift in the U.S. foreign policy, one that could further entrench the United States in a conflict that has already caused immeasurable suffering for countless people. By offering U.S. citizens the chance to fight in a foreign military, the bill could encourage greater American involvement in the ongoing violence and repression in Gaza and the broader region, raising serious ethical and legal questions about America's role in these conflicts.

Taken together, these actions and policies represent a disturbing shift in American politics. From Trump's refusal to follow established norms and traditions to the disturbing rise of political figures like Elon Musk, there is a growing sense that the country is moving in a dangerous direction. Whether through questionable legislation, the erosion of civil rights, or deepening foreign entanglements, the first days of Trump's return to power have made it clear that the political landscape in America is changing in ways that could have long-lasting and harmful consequences for the nation's future.

Goodluck to all kindhearted Americans out there, and thank you for reading. - LibraZebra
